Exciting New Upgrades to Enhance Your Shopping Experience
At Village Centre & Bridge Plaza, we’re committed to continuously improving the shopping experience for our valued customers. As part of our long-term revitalisation plan, we’re excited to announce the next phase of our upgrades, focusing on the travelator entrance in Village Centre. These works will start in October 2024 and are expected to be completed by December 2024.
During the works, we will endeavour to maintain full access via the travelators. Stay tuned for updates!
The upcoming works will transform the travelator entrance, introducing more natural light, a refreshed garden area, and the first stage of a new flooring rollout. These updates are aimed at creating a welcoming and vibrant entry point for shoppers.
Our Revitalisation Plan to Date?
Over the past months, we’ve worked hard to enhance key areas of the centre, including:
- February 2022 – Upgraded southern-end toilets to provide more comfort and cleanliness.
- May 2023 – A brand new travelator to improve access for all shoppers.
- May 2024 – State-of-the-art air conditioning for long-term tenants, keeping things cool and comfortable year-round.
- June 2024 – New lighting in the undercover parking area, ensuring better visibility and safety.
What’s Next
Now, we’re taking the next steps by continuing our revitalisation plans that include:
- April 2025 – The first stage of a new flooring rollout, bringing a fresh and modern look to the centre. The new flooring will be rolled out in four stages starting from the Village Centre travelator to minamise impact on shopping. Stage 2 will commence in mid 2025 at the northern end of Village Centre.
- Mid 2025 – All-new playground and seating area to create a family-friendly space where shoppers can relax and enjoy time together.
